Born in Madrid in 1960, has a degree in Geography and History, specializing in Ancient and Medieval History. He is the author of three novels: The smell of spices (2002), ink Thieves (2004), winner of the First International Historical Novel Prize City of Zaragoza and I Spartacus Award for best historical novel published in English awarded by the Association Semana Negra, and The cabinet of wonders (2006), which regained Spartacus Prize in 2007. In 2005 published autumn flowers, a collection of items included a guide to reading various works of the Golden Age
